ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?

The Sequoyah Lacrosse Booster Club is a non-profit, self-funded organization that exists to support the girls lacrosse program at Sequoyah High School. The Booster Club is comprised of dues-paying member volunteers and head coaches from the program.

Sequoyah High School receives limited to no funds from the school, county or gate; therefore, it is supported by the funds raised by the Booster Club through memberships, sponsorships, donations, concession, fundraisers and the like. We adhere to all rules and regulations imposed by the Sequoyah High School Administration, Cherokee County School Board, and GHSA.

In order to achieve our growth goals and keep our lacrosse programs running, the Booster Club relies on the support and help of our lacrosse families and our community partners.

WHO RUNS THE ORGANIZATION?

The Booster Club is made up of the elected officers of the Club and the High School appointed Varsity Coach. Apart from the Head Coach, each member must be a legal parent or guardian to a current player in the Sequoyah Lacrosse program. The Executive Committee shall consist of:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary/Membership
• Treasurer
• Fundraising/Sponsorship Chairperson
• Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach

WHERE ARE WE HEADING?

Sequoyah Lacrosse and it’s Booster Club are dedicated to growing the sport in our school and community. It takes a village, though, so all players, volunteers, sponsors, and donors are welcome!
